 Dean Norton, M.D.
Dr. Dean Norton is a board certified Radiation Oncologist who graduated from the University of Missouri Columbia School of Medicine with honors and who did his Radiation Oncology training at the New York University Medical Center in New York City where he served as Chief Resident in Radiation Oncology and then Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology. He is thrilled to be returning to the Metro East area after serving on the faculty of Saint Louis University Hospital as Assistant Professor the last two years, as well as Acting Director of the Department of Radiation Oncology for part of that time. Dr. Norton continues to be on staff at Barnes-Jewish Hospital where he will continue to perform Gamma Knife Stereotactic Radiosurgery for brain tumors, both benign and malignant as well as functional disorders such as Trigeminal Neuralgia.
Dr. Dean Norton, in partnership with Dr. Mary W. Conti, will be full time staff at IMRT-Illinois Metro Radiation Therapy in Fairview Heights, Illinois and will perform stereotactic radiosurgery procedures at Barnes-Jewish Hospital as a very valuable adjunct to the primary practice.
 Lisa Reid - Medical Assistant
Lisa is pleased to join the medical staff at Illinois Metro Radiation Therapy after serving as Medical Assistant at Missouri Baptist Hospital for 15 years in the Department of Radiation Oncology. This extensive experience in Radiation Oncology makes her an invaluable asset to our strong patient care team.
 Melanie Johnes - Chief Radiation Therapist
Melanie graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Sciences with an emphisis on Radiation Therapy. She then went on to an intership at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, MO, and from there to Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis. She has been working with Dr. Conti since that time. Her caring and cheerful demeanor is infectious.
 Cindy Jost B.S, RTT - Dosimetrist
Cindy graduated from the Mallinkrodt Institute of Radiology, Radiation Therapy program in 1981. She worked as a Radiation Therapist at Memorial Hospital and then in 1985 trained in Dosimetry. In 1987 she became Chief Radiation Therapist and continued in that capacity for 17 years. Her extensive experience in both radiation therapy treatment and planning gives Cindy both a caring and practical perspective.
 Helena Schutte - Massage Therapist
Helena graduated from Mallinkrodt Institute of Radiology program in 1980 and has spent 24 years in Radiation Therapy. In 1991, Helena completed training in massage therapy and has since become a nationally certified Massage Therapist. She has also had training in lymph drainage therapy, aromatherapy, and myofascial release therapy. She obtained a bachelors degree in Natural Health in 2001.
 Bogdan Coroi, M.S. - Physicist
Mr. Coroi obtained his masters degree in Radiation Physics from the University of Missouri in 1994 and was certified by the American Board of Radiaology in Radiotherpay in 1998. He completed a specialized course in IMRT at William Beaumont Hospital in Detroit Michigan in 2003.

Connie came to us after having served as a Claims Processor in the insurance industry for 7 years. Her efficiency and hard work keeps our office running smoothly and her caring warmth helps make our patients feel at home.
